The Pikture Gallery is proud to present an Art Exhibition " WHO LOVES BANGKOK MORE THAN ME? " by Artist Maura Moynihan for " WHO LOVES BANGKOK MORE THAN ME? " Art Exhibition
Maura Moynihan attended high school in New Delhi in the 1970’s, when her father, New York Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan, served as USAmbassador to India. Her love for the people and cultures of Asia continues to this day, and she is delighted to have a new exhibition at The Pikture Gallery I take my sketchbook with me every day, I use pencil and watercolors - dries quickly, easy to carry. The guide books say that Bangkok has more the 400 temples, so I go hunting for new wats every weekend, driving through Bangkok for hours with my friend and motorbike taxi driver, Samlor. In Bangkok the gods and legends of the Buddhist and Hindu and Chinese pantheon are alive. The Chinese Gods melt into the Ramakien, which is woven into the Life of Lord Buddha, both avatars of Lord Vishnu.
( This exhibition will be on display from Sunday 17th December until Wednesday 28th February 2017 ) ** For further information on the exhibition, please do not hesitate to contact us by this email.
