An Exhibition by Arnon HOONTRAKUL
12 November 2004 - 28 November 2004

I was fortunate enough to be part of a group of 6 people to explore the route from The Chao Phraya basin to ?The Roof of The World?. In this adventure, we witnessed the amazing transformation of our surroundings: from lush green forests to rocky mountainous tracks and then finally the snow covered mountains of Tibet. The round-trip journey took us pass 10,000 km, 3 countries and 30 days to come home.

In this sets of photographs I have tried to capture, not only what was in front of the lens, but the feelings and emotions of that moment and put them on paper as well. Due to the nature of the journey, we spent the majority of the time whizzing pass everything. But with these pictures, I have captured the moments people missed, the moment where time stands still. These are the adventures, the joy and the tears or simply the details of the journey (everything in brackets that make this journey whole).
